Anita E. Keire is the author of the ten-grade level non-denominational nationally used Sunday school curriculum the Mustard Seed Series® and A Parent’s Guide to Prayer. The Rev. Anita Keire holds a B.S. and M.S. in Education in English and a Masters in Divinity from Yale University’s Divinity School. Before entering ordained ministry as an intentional interim minister in the United Church of Christ (Congregational), she was a public school teacher and a Director of Christian Education. She is a dedicated Christian educator, minister, preacher, author, speaker, and discussion group and workshop leader who seeks to pass on the Christian faith through an understanding and knowledge of that faith. She says: The Christian faith is under assault both from within and outside of the Church. Part of the problem is that people lack historical knowledge of the faith. They rely on the “experts” to tell them what to believe. The time has come for Christians and would-be Christians to educate themselves at least from a lay person’s perspective, about the Bible, its message and religious significance, Jesus, his work and nature, creeds, dogmas, doctrines, heresies, and traditions. |
